How would I go about using this app to record my XBOX gaming footage?

This application is used to convert video and audio formats to other video and audio formats. You can't use it to record XBOX gameplay because you will need a capture device like Elgato Game Capture. You can buy it using the link posted below. The device sits between your XBOX and PC and allows to record the gameplay which you can then modify and enhance on your PC with various applications.
Does it have the ability to add cover art to MP4 files gone now that I've updated? I can't seem to do this. This was my favorite feature being able to search season/episode number and the program retrieved the episode name and cover art?

The only thing you can still do in the program is change the template after a compatible file has been added to the Burn section. I have analyzed every option provided by the application, but no cover art functionality was found which means it has been removed if it existed in the previous versions of the application.

Do I need a special plug-in to convert DRM locked WMA files?
You don't need a plug-in but in trial mode, the application has some limitations like:
1. The output audio file is limited to only one minute.
2. There will be watermarks on the output video files.
